Lolesha Luangwa has been awarded with the ‘Malcolm Whitehead Award for Best Education Project: schools and educational institutions’, at a prestigious ceremony for the annual BIAZA (British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquarium) Awards. By encouraging involvement through conservation education, the programme aims to raise the next generation of committed Zambians working for a sustained conservation of the greater North Luangwa ecosystem.
