Festival for rhino conservation in Kenya
As part of a fundraising, Kenya’s best BBQ-restaurants recently celebrated a “wild” party.
The festival, a first of its kind is aimed at raising awareness of the Nairobi National park and their various wildlife and this time round it was the month of the rhino. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without the rhino’s energy drink.
The purpose of the fest was not only to have fun, but to contribute towards a good course of wildlife conservation.
And the effort certainly paid off: Lots of proceeds from the fest were contributed and will go towards conservations of the endangered rhinos in Kenyan parks including a 50,000 Kenya Shillings donation from rhino’s Kenya – only for the rhinos living in Kenya’s national parks that are threatened with extinction.
